America's Oldest Private International Shortwave Station
WINB
is broadcasting to the world from the state of Pennsylvania on the
east coast of the United States. Located in the town of Red Lion,
WINB came on the air in October 1962, which makes us the United
States' oldest private shortwave station. Since that time we have
informed, entertained, and inspired listeners in over 120 countries.
WINB is a commercial, International Short-wave radio station. Its purpose is to promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We began transmitting on the shortwave bands in October 1962, and have been used mainly by religious broadcasters to transmit programs as a missionary outreach.
